The short version

• We collect the event details, contact details and guesses people submit.
• On a public event, anyone with the link can see guest names, guesses and standings on its stats page.
• Email addresses, phone numbers and payment status stay off the stats page. We don't sell personal data or run ad trackers.
• Deleting the event deletes its personal and game data.

What we collect

From a host: your name, your email, the event you set up, and your Venmo handle if you turn payments on.

From a guest: the name the entry plays under, their predictions, an email or phone number if they want event messages, and whether the host has marked them paid. On a public event, the name and guesses appear on its stats page; contact details and payment status do not.

What we never collect

No card numbers — Stripe handles the $17 and we only ever see that it succeeded. No Venmo login, ever; we build a link, you tap it, the rest happens inside Venmo. And nothing directly from a child.

Why we have it

To run the game, show its stats and standings, score it, send event messages, and let a host see who still owes them money. That is the list.

Texts and email

Give us your number and we'll text you if you win, and when the baby arrives. Reply STOP to any of it and we stop.

Cookies

One cookie keeps a host signed in, and one remembers a guest on the phone they played from so we can ask whether a second entry is really a second person. No advertising cookies and no third-party analytics that follow you around.

How to delete it

Delete the event from your dashboard and everything attached to it goes with it — guests, predictions, scores, the lot. If you'd rather we did it, write to hello@gambleonmybaby.com from the address on the account and we'll take care of it.

Kids

Kids play through a grown-up. We never ask a child for their own email or phone number, and a proxied entry stores only the name it is played under.

Reaching a person

Write to hello@gambleonmybaby.com. A human reads it.

If we change this

We'll update the date at the top and, if it is a change that matters, email the hosts it affects. We are not going to quietly rewrite the money promise.
